I have always asked “do you have any hesitations in your mind about my experience or areas where I might not match up with other candidates?” they will tell you and that gives you a PERFECT opportunity to correct their opinion about you and finish with a strong closing on why you are a better fit than the candidates they just compared you to. Works every time.

I had an interview last week and asked what the previous person in the position struggled with, then I told them how I would make those things a non-issue. I hope I get it, I was told 2-3 weeks since they are early in the process.
