My 19 year old daughter just had endometriosis excision and total hysterectomy because she also has adenomyosis! She’s recovering in the hospital! Worst disease the doctor says he’s seen in someone so young

The UTI symptoms but no UTI, is what got doctors to finally listen to me. I went 5 months 24/7 with a burning sensation. I finally have my diagnostic laparoscopy next week!! They believe it is endo mainly because I have kissing ovaries syndrome. Thank you for sharing 💛

I’ve had two babies. Both, during labor they asked “are you having contractions?” I legit was confused because I said I have period cramps, but they were timing in waves of contractions? So yeah. Having hysterectomy in a few weeks and it’s safe to say, period cramps shouldn’t be worse than child labor.

Your explaining my symptoms and im told its normal period symptoms here in south africa the state hospitals and clinics dont help at all and i simply dont have the money for private doctors 😭

I have endometriosis but I have EXTREMELY light periods which convinced me I didn’t have endometriosis. Turns out I just have extreme retrograde menstruation alongside endo, which made my periods so “light”. I just hope I can reassure at least one girl that light periods do NOT mean you cannot have endo.💛

It’s so crazy because I had ZERO symptoms other than infertility and had stage 3!! My only sign was infertility and an endometrioma in my ovary! Endo shows up in so many ways- my college roommate had the same symptoms as you and I never thought I could have it because her symptoms were so much worse than anything I experienced. Thank you for sharing your story!
