I started both of my kids on Gerber life insurance right when they were born and also they have a 529 account through fidelity. No one taught me this, doing my own research was key! The time will come when you’ll be able to save for your kids, as long as they have food and a roof over their heads you’re doing just fine ❣️

I do $20/month. It’s all I can afford right now but it makes me feel good knowing I’m doing something. You’re a great mom!

I can barley afford to keep my kids alive but one time my daughter said "Mommy, when I grow up, I wanna be sweet and kind like you because you help homeless people and tell them God loves them." 😭💕 Honestly, to ME, that's what matters; that MY kids are KIND to the world and smart! 💘

That’s why children should be planned and be brought into stability, not to struggle.

Just remember saving for your kids is a luxury and it’s okay if you don’t do it. The important things is giving them the tools they need to succeed. Being kind to them, teaching them life skills, supporting them even into adulthood when getting their first job or going to college, etc. You aren’t a bad parent if you don’t have $1,000s of dollars to give your adult children

Do what you can. Not everyone has the luxury of doing that ESPECIALLY in this current economy.

It's never too late. We started with our daughter when she was 6. She's 11 now and has almost 20k with Fidelity. We put $240 every month + bday gifts 💸 she gets. She's an only child (our choice.) So we make sure she's already set up for college and whatever she needs in the future.

We have a little over $13,000 saved for our 4 year old. We ask family to contribute to his 529 for birthdays and holidays because he really doesn’t know the difference at this age.

its no point in constantly comparing yourself to other mothers..I do believe we can learn certain things from other mothers sometimes, but motherhood is a journey..its your own personal journey

Yes girl! And lets not forget a child can get life insurance as soon as 90 days. This is why im a broker because I love telling parents hacks for saving, retirement plans even college funds for their kids. Its never to late to start, they are kids. They will be thankful that you did that.
