@prideandjoyquilting: I fly out for Scotland tomorrow to join the members of Glasgow Modern Quilt Guild and the Quilters Guild of the British Isles (Region 16). I am so excited I could burst! I am particularly excited about the workshop landscape quilt project for these workshops which highlights some of the breathtaking beauty of Scotland. I have been working on this Quilt pattern for almost 6 months and I’m delighted how it turned out. It includes a wink to the Jacobite Train, the Glenfinnen Viaduct, Standing Stones and Scotland’s national flower: the Thistle ❤️🎉 This pattern “Capturing Memories Scotland” is Part 11 of the Capturing Memories Landscape Quilt Pattern Series and will be released at the end of November. This particular event feels very full circle to me as the Glasgow MQG was the very first guild to have ever invited me to speak about my quilting journey a little over 4 years ago when I was starting off in my quilting journey. And now, I will be setting foot on Scotlands shores and spending time with these remarkable quilters! #sewing #sewingtiktok #scotlandquilt #quiltersoftiktok #quilting @glasgowmodernquiltguild @thequiltersguild
