Please. HR told me the dates I put on my resume were incorrect correct for a job I considered 1 but were 2 because of the contracts.

I agree. Cause I work for US govt, and once time a lot of people had to go do fingerprinting and background check again. Cause the ones submit in past were never done. Some of these people working for 5 plus years.
