I love what you’re saying here. Although I have cleared many clients with Face Reality, I essentially know I can do the same thing with any line with the right ingredient knowledge. FR’s training is a rip off- I remember thinking “this is nothing more than what they already gave you in Esti school” which was basically nothing. Then they came out with their “Level 2 Acne Expert Training” and I was over it. lol another $500?? 😂

When I went solo a few years ago I paid $500 to be “Acne Certified”. As a person who suffers from hormonal breakouts (and is in my 40’s) I felt like this was a natural move for me. The amount of garbage they spew is astounding. Even checking with my Derm he disputed the majority of their claims. I did use the credit to buy a few products (mainly cleansers and spf) but after that initial spend I never purchased again.

This!! Im a ‘fr acne expert’ and their education suckkss, but that does cut down on my client consultation time because I just say “ignore lines __ through __ bc I’m not a MD so we’re not gonna listen to this, instead you can ask dr.___ in our office about x,y,z.” But that’s unique because I work with different drs, reg. dieticians etc. Proper education is powerful :)

Face Reality is insane. I do retail and backbar their product but you’re correct in the assessment of their bad teaching of rabbit ear studies. I do believe there are foods which can trigger acne but more on a “this food doesnt agree with me” than a “peanut butter causes acne” level
