These are great. The only tweak I would consider is making it less formal and more conversational. In my experience the formality can be a barrier.

A great manager will also follow up with, “That sounds a good way forward, is there anything you need from me to take those next steps?”

I'm not a manager 😅 but I'm wondering, how do you deal with people who constantly say "that's not my job" and refuse teamwork? struggling with these people at the moment, but also I totally understand they are just protecting themselves against extra work they might not have capacity for. any help greatly appreciated!

How about managing up when it comes to accountability? And providing the feedback when it’s lacking

Maybe I have misunderstood but Q1 - if this went well what would look different implies that ‘this’ hasn’t gone well. But I’m asking this before any set backs? I thinking timing is key on this

would definitely try this. But how can I use these in a way to make my directors see the changes they need to make for our business.

Yes! I did a version of the first one a few weeks back and I’m a newish manager. It worked! I asked my person to reflect on their work. They told me it was perfect. 🤪 So we talked about how to reflect and why people reflect and the next meeting they were doing it!
