@slotgrill: Yes, I know the weld on this thing is horrible. 😂 I was digging through my toolbox this evening and came across this homemade wrench I made around 2008 to remove the fuel injection pump on my 1989 Dodge Ram D250. And yes, this is an actual tool that still lives in my toolbox. At the time I had absolutely no clue how to rebuild a fuel injection pump. The truck would barely start in cold weather because all the tiny little o rings in the fuel injection pump had hardened up over the years. It was sucking air and leaking fuel. Money was tight and paying somebody to fix it wasn’t an option, so I jumped in headfirst and figured it out myself. That pretty much sums up my whole life honestly. Late 90s I started a dial up internet service provider with no clue what I was doing. Then a sawmill. Now a fabrication shop. Every step of the way was basically full confidence mixed with figuring things out as I went. Being 51 years old now, one thing I know for certain is this: if you believe in yourself, make a plan, and stick with it, you will succeed. You will hit obstacles. You will fail at things. You will have moments where you wonder what the hell you got yourself into. But if you keep pushing forward and refuse to quit, you’ll make it happen.
