Pls don’t dogpile on me for this - but Taylor Swift’s All Too Well NEEDED all 10 minutes. It paints such a VIVID picture in your mind of her experience. It’s only repetitive when it’s circling back to how each part adds up to create the full narrative. Truly an amazing (longasss) song.

How about “In a gadda da vida”? that song was about 12 minutes long and they were trying to say in the garden of Eden, but they were so skyrocketed on LS point D it turned into what it turned into and people loved it anyway.

Honestly, I kind of agree. Not in the way of "no song should EVER be Long." But a lot of long songs feel like they could be two separate songs that are really good on their own.
