@for.this.season: A 3.5 hour labor… I don’t yet have adequate words to describe the way it felt in the “in between” process while you’re laboring with every ounce of your being and waiting for the sweet moment of meeting the new little life you created. I kept telling them I was sorry (because I felt like I was screaming/roaring excessively and I felt out of control for a few minutes) and also kept asking if she was out because I couldn’t believe it/wanted to make sure it was over. This was the most mentally and physically intense birth I’ve experienced. So incredibly powerful and holy in the best, indescribable ways. #birth #labor #pregnancy #natural #delivery
