I agree with your point about the quality of tools for a beginner. But that's the problem: a beginner doesn't know what's best for him. I'm not a blacksmith, but in my hobby, I started with whatever I could find. Literally, I spent the minimum possible finances, due to their absence, and only after a while I was able to afford something better and better
