@homeland_pz: If you’re renovating a house, please learn from our mistakes 😂 These are the biggest renovation mistakes to avoid - the ones that cost us time, money and a lot of stress. From trying to DIY things we should’ve paid for, to underestimating timelines and starting projects without a proper plan… This is the honest side of renovating a house in the UK that no one really talks about. If you’re about to start renovating (or already in it), save this so you don’t make the same mistakes 👀 #renovationtips #renovation #renovationproject

My job gets in the way of my DIY time 😂 I think it’s easy to underestimate how much time it really takes. I was completely lied to by many of the renos that have “renovated the entire house in 6 months by working evenings and weekends”. In convinced they must have nearly worked themselves in to a grave by the end of it because HOW?! 😂

Our self plastered walls and ceilings are horrifying. Spend on a plasterer.

100% feel the last one. Thought I could complete a project in an afternoon. We all got a stomach bug halfway through and now it's half done until I next find the time 😅
