@wildwhisperss0: Everybody knows that sea otters hold hands while they sleep so they don’t float away... But did you know they also have a secret pocket? Right under their arms, they have a loose fold of skin that works exactly like a built-in pocket. And what do they keep in there? Their absolute favorite rock. Finding the "perfect" stone is a big deal. They use it as a custom tool to smash open hard clams for dinner. And surprisingly they even use the exact same technique to crush ice cubes, just to munch on them! Once an otter finds the right rock, they get seriously attached — keeping it in that pocket for their entire life. And when they aren’t eating They pull it out and juggle it back and forth just for fun. It really is the cutest thing ever, isn't it? #seaotter #animal #animals #animalshorts
