Wait, can somebody answer this? Could Soldier Boy only turn Homelander into a regular person after he took V1 because his depowering ability only works on people with active V1 in their system? Since Homelander was born with powers and wasn’t originally injected like everyone else, maybe Soldier Boy couldn’t strip his powers before. If that’s the case, then maybe Soldier Boy was playing the long game all along, and this was part of a much bigger plan, hence giving him the V1 to inject.
