You get this experience when you pick a random strategy to backtest or trade. Instead of going from strategy to logic, try moving from logic to strategy. Market repeats the same things everyday, pick one - move to a drawing board and go crazy! Break it down through timeframes, apply reasoning to it and then you create your strategy from it.

I backtested 260 trades on Gold from 2024-2026....the results of that backtesting is what I'm reaping now... There's no shortcut to profitability... And yes, it doesn't work everytime so risk what u can Comfortably loose, follow your rules strictly and trade...
