In recent months, the rumours have grown increasingly persistent, and today, Swatch has released a teaser: “Royal Pop”, featuring a font that is very reminiscent of that of the Royal Oak. Coincidence? In the past, François-Henry Bennahmias had already described the Omega x Swatch collaboration as “brilliant”, emphasising how it could bring a new generation closer to watchmaking. And between suspicious social media interactions and very close ties between the brands’ top management, the idea of a collaboration no longer seems so far-fetched.
