I used to hate being unemployed when I was but for the past year/two every time something happens — if I failed a course or if I lost a job — I took it as a sign from Allah swt that there is a reason why and that He has a plan for me that I have to wait for

I lost my job for a silly mistake so I went to visit someone I hadn't seen for years I stayed with them 10 months I was needed their would not have seen her if I didn't loose my job

I genuinely believe when your unemployed and searching it’s the time to be “made a match” to your next opportunity and to become that you essentially need to educate yourself and upskill .. this also includes habits like prayer and household cleanliness because these good habits translate to other essential things in most jobs inadvertently
