The “cultivars” are known as “saibaimen” in every other english translation/localization of Dragon Ball. The Japanese word “saibai” means “cultivation”, so Viz Media localized “Saibaimen” to “Cultivars” so that English speaking readers could pick up on the naming convention being used.
