Go back to 52 years, look at the population of South Africa, go back and look at the demand for slavery. At that point in time South Africans were not so keen on working for whites or money, they had occupied themselves with their own businesses. Basically there was no competition for jobs, it would take 1 day for the man to hunt for a job, today some hurt employment till end of life. Don't be lazy to think better.
