@markanstead: Brie and wine can be a disaster even with a white wine. The savoury umami flavour can strip wine of its fruitiness. But Beaujolais works well because it’s extremely low in tannin. What’s your favourite wine with Brie?

Though a type of Beaujolais, Fleurie I find it the perfect red-wine pairing for Brie. For white wine with Brie, an off-dry Chenin Blanc is even better imho, from either South Africa or the Loire Valley. So, a good off-dry Vouvray should be even better than Fleurie but it's a close call. Those two are your best bets. Same for Camembert cheese. 🍷👍
