Griffin has Angelman Syndrome and global developmental delays, and we work on behaviors every single day through ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis therapy). In this moment, the goal is simple—no reinforcement, clear communication, and patience. So I point, use simple words, and wait him out. It’s not easy, and it definitely takes time… but it works. At first he said no to the potty, and by the end, he chose to go.
