I have and use all of this but my recordings are always still so out of synch. I swear I can play in time and I even use the metronome in logic but it still always comes out all the tracks sounding out of synch

You should check out the IK multimedia irig mic for a beginner setup. It has mic models, sounds pretty decent, can plug directly into your iPhone or computer and has great off axis noise rejection so you don’t need sound proofing or a reflection filter. Better mics can often reveal more problems with your untreated room and environment

Place mic upside down and record 6 inches away from mic usually if the pop filter is in between at 3 inches then you should already have the general standing for mic discipline

Closer to mic makes you muddier for certain sounds farther away makes you more brighter n punchy if that makes sense, so play around with ur mic until you find the right position for yourself

Mixing your own vocals learn how to train ur ear to hear certain sounds and frequencies, but don’t over do it cuz ur mind will cluster but over time you’ll know urself what you want to sound like, learn basics effects because those also bring life into ur music, pronounce bars with emotion instead of just directly speaking the audience knows the difference and will connect to the emotion
