I'm sure there's a few ex trans women but I only see ex trans men. and they make it seem like the doctors were evil and didn't inform them that T was gonna... do what T does... "my voice got lower!! and I grew facial hair!" yeah no shit? wtf did you think would happen...? "it made me go from a beautiful woman to an UGLY GROSS MAN!!" skill issue is guess. I’m doing the informed consent version. I made sure to do 3 years of research prior, so I knew what I was getting into. Do other people not do that with things they do. For context before I started dying my hair I made sure I knew the exact process and what happens if done wrong and how to care for it, same with tattoos made sure I knew what areas cause light to max pain, what inks I could be allergic too, that sort of thing.

Acting like it's forced on them with the whole bunch of hoops you have to jump through and length of time you have to wait before you even make it to the medication/medical transition stage bffr, And obv doctors should be telling you everything you could possibly need to know about a medication especially one that will make permanent changes but like its also your own fault if you're going on hormones without thoroughly looking into what that will do

you have to be purposefully lying and ignoring EVERY precaution to get access to hrt without realizing you were wrong. at that point, it is your fault for being stupid and making bad choices despite being warned repeatedly and having a whole year or more to think about it.

The big mistake accusers make is to think trans people are stupid. Firstly we have street sense. We have to since stupid gets you killed. Secondly because a lack of knowledge in the medical field, we sometimes know stuff our doctors didnt even know. We are so desperate about our treatment, we know about every possible research being done. And also, majority of us have other mental issues and are geeks basically. We search and discuss the hell out of hrt because its a life choice. And we are willing to loose friends and family when we come out, so we are not going to be convinced about anything we dont want to do. . So yea its fake.
