I love how evil Blackbeard was, he was even using his own daughter to get what he wanted and he was a genius because he noticed what was happening between Jack and Angelica, and between Philip and Syrena, and used that in his favor. Too bad we didn't see more of him because as a character he wasn't complex, nothing happened to him and made him evil. He was just evil by birth.
