Yes but in Australia on top of that wage they also get a minimum 12% paid pension, they also get health cover, they get 2 weeks paid sick leave and leave 4 weeks paid holiday pay every year. Once the clock hits 7pm they are also paid extra, after midnight maid more again. Let alone just on weekend the extra they are paid, regardless of how busy it is.

Same for work from home. I make $17 an hour which sucks, but I dont have to buy lunch daily, gas, clothes for work, & any other working in an office expense. They keep talking about brining us back in office, my 2 weeks will be put in that day unless they are giving us at least a $5 raise.

in canada, servers get minimum wage plus 20% standard tips. so our minimum wage is $17.50 plus tips, its not bad !

we tip our regular Bartender $100 ea time we go...We feel like he deserves it...and i know if you were our regular batender...we would definitely tip you the same!!

I agree with you on a lot of things. But I’m a cook by trade and our ups and downs suck!!! And we don’t get nearly what bartender or waitresses get paid. Where I live in North Carolina 26$ an hour is unheard of for a cook.

in finland bartender gets 12-16€/h + tip if ppl gives tips. Tipping isnt thing here. But all thing u listed just belongs to work.

Minimum liveable wage doesn’t just affect servers that are getting tips to make life liveable. It affects your sales clerks in the mall, the hotel clerks that check you in at your hotel or food servers at McDonalds. These people aren’t getting tips but are expected to somehow live in 7 dollars an hour, stop thinking this is just about bar tenders!
