Absolutely pointless on a Cummins. They drop liners way before anything wears out in the engine from oil quality. Save these for the real motors.

Is that similar to the old Lubrifiner systems? Huge cartridge filter I think the Napa number is 1751 for the filter

I was a mechanic at Frito Lay. They used Kleen filters. Looked exactly like that. Didnt see where it changed anynthing. Their goal was to extend service intervals. Maybe they help with normal intervals but extending intervals they had alot more failures than they did prior to using the kleen filters

the thing is. you will be basing oil changes on the results of the oil analysis. I dont think its a bad idea

Change oil more often and thank me later and if you want save some money, do it yourself! In my opinion I wouldn't recommend doing oil changes 30k+ miles.
