you are bot ironing it nearly enough if you like the parler, look then iron the entire back to where it’s almost pixelated so the beads are stuck together and then various slightly iron in the front. I’ve encountered this way too many times when trying to make mine still look like a pearler and that is the only way it’s ever worked for me.

I see people use tape on one side (poke holes in each bead so it’s extra stuck on) and then lift and iron the other side through parchment paper. Maybe the tape step would help it not fall apart?
