@imashleybreannn: Carmelized Banana Milk Matcha 🍵🍌🥛 What you’ll need: For the caramelized banana milk: •1 ripe banana, sliced lengthwise •2 teaspoons salted butter •1 tablespoon brown sugar •Cinnamon, to taste •7 to 8 ounces of your milk of choice - I use @malkorganics vanilla almond milk For the matcha: •4 grams matcha- I use @morethan.matcha •50ml warm water at 175°F (hot, but not boiling) •10 grams raw and unfiltered honey (or more, depending how sweet you like it) •Pinch of flaky sea salt •Ice Directions 1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. 2. Add the banana slices cut-side down, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook until caramelized and golden, then flip and cook the other side. 3. Add the caramelized banana and milk to a blender. Blend until smooth. 4. Sift the matcha into a bowl. Whisk 15ml of the warm water into a smooth paste first, then add the remaining 35ml, honey, and a pinch of flaky sea salt. Whisk until frothy. 5. Fill a glass with ice, pour in the caramelized banana milk, then top with the matcha.
