We call it a bowl test, down here in Dayton. We just ballon off clean out and cap vent and prime all the traps, and raise the water in the water closets. When inspector comes we pull a trap and it drops. Easy money! Good work

• Woukd I be right to assume that the toilet system uses air pressure to keep excess water in the bowl? • This air pressure is maintained in the cavities between the drain and the commode? • Water tension in the traps and caps on all openings to the vents, and a test ball in the building drian which are your only parts without a trap? • So since the traps hold the air back with the water that remains, this allows test of the system to remain easily checked by any or all toilets, am I picking up what your throwing down?
