I'm born ' n bred, still live there now. I live in 1 of the many nice areas surrounding. it's grim in and around the town centre. I remember when it was a great little town...I'm 61 now and I've seen the decline over the years.

Rotherham Town centre died years ago. Was busy every day when I was a kid in 80s/90s. loads of pubs/bars as well back then but last 20 years it's gone massively downhill.

Rotherham is a brilliant place to live and has so many wonderful places, not to mention 70% is countryside. The town centre is undergoing huge regeneration at the moment.

I’m originally from Rotherham and the council screwed all the businesses over, it’s a ghost town now apparently. There are some beautiful buildings up the top with independent shops, but the place is awful now
