She calls me and gives me attention as if she genuinely likes me. At first, I ignore her, but she keeps reaching out until I forgive her and start developing feelings for her again. She encourages me to confess, only to reject me and then insult me afterward. Most of the time, I say nothing and simply let her go. Yet sooner or later, she returns, acting interested once again, and the same cycle repeats. This has been going on for five years. What makes it even more painful is that during that time, she has been involved with many other guys as well. I hate what she has put me through, yet somehow she has managed to keep pulling me back into the same endless cycle. It has been years of confusion, disappointment, and suffering.
