@itskaycamp: I am now the 7th lawyer in my family, but luck played no part in this journey. I could make this post about me, my accomplishments, my trials, and my tribulations but instead, I’m choosing to give flowers to my family and show you what Black legacy means to me. They say you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. Throughout my life, my family led me to the water not by telling me what to do, but by showing me the value of education, discipline, faith, and by never introducing me to a ceiling. In a world where the odds have so often been stacked against us, they still taught me to see possibility instead of limits. From that, I made my choices. Everything I have and everything I am is because of the influences in my life. Thank you to my family for building this legacy, sustaining it, and allowing me to continue it 🤎💐..the work is almost done.⚖️ #lawyer #jurisdoctor #blackexcellence #graduate #doctorate
