Private equity also just bought and bankrupted one of the largest parts manufacturers of older parts so getting parts is now going to be harder also they are putting covers on the engines of new cars with censors and only the dealership can open the cover so you can’t go to your regular mechanic anymore to have your car worked on. So there goes a lot of jobs of mechanics and those mechanics are much cheaper than the dealership

Yes, ethanol reduces fuel mileage because it has lower energy density than pure gasoline. Generally, E10 (10% ethanol) reduces fuel economy by about 3%, while E85 can reduce it by 20–30%. The higher the ethanol blend, the lower the mileage, as ethanol contains about 34% less energy per unit volume than gasoline

Iowa has been selling e15 for a while now! There is also 10% and regular as well as e85.

The EPA has repeatedly issued temporary emergency waivers allowing summer sales of E15 gasoline, including again in 2026. There is bipartisan legislation in Congress to permanently allow year round E15 nationwide, but it’s still being debated/attached to larger bills like the farm bill.

They are sabotaging everything to make people buy the 2027 camera cars. Limiting old replacement parts. This gas thing. However, are special ethanol hoses that can be bought, and fuel additives to help prevent the damage.
