I told my husband this after 10 years together, had a very direct, blunt, and honest talk with him. I let him know this is no longer a threat but a promise to leave if he does not start putting the work in. I told him I want our marriage to work, I love him, I am willing to stay but only if he can show consistency. I gave him three months. And I’m so happy to say that as of last week, I extended another three months because he has risen to the occasion and has shown more consistency over than last three months than he has in our past years together! I’m excited but still guarded. I’m hopeful but still allowing time. I’m still observing but still giving grace with patience. ❤️
