walked from bottom to top, many times. my great grandparents once had The Shepherd Arms and Top Lock pubs at one point. great memories as a kid with mates fishing things on there too 👍🏻

travelled up this part of the canal in a narrow boat we taking an American guy from wigan to Skipton back in the day we had a free holiday on the boat just had to open the lochs it was an eye opener just getting out of wigan lol 😆 😀

It's a lovely walk to take, but seeing it this way gives a whole new perspective, I simply hadn't grasped how thick with trees much of the banks are🥰
