I purchased your Reading NWEA prep packet and had similar growth. I could not believe how many nonsense 2 syllable words questions there were. I’m first grade. I had 100% meet with 216%growth and we only used the packets the last 3 weeks. Thank you so much!!

Heck yea! Congratulations! That TIA will be on your teaching certificate and will follow you. It’s on your certificate for 5 years. I was at a low income school and got a $20,000 lump sum for 3 years before I retired. And…it counted toward my retirement amount!

That’s the unfair side of treat scores being tied to teacher incentive. The money should follow the teacher PERIOD!!!

Wonder if it depends on the way your TIA is set up at your school. We were told that it would follow you to any school you went to for the next five years, but we were also told it did not count towards retirement.

Fellow CFISD teacher here, you will be missed! I’m still waiting on 2 scores from kids that took it today. I’m bilingual K and I have 81% and 100% 😭 I cried a little when I saw my lowest babies reach their goal

Congratulations, but we’re all your kids on Level when you got them. Mine were pre-K level when I got mine in First Grade so I’m not getting TIA this year. But again congratulations you deserve it. You’re an awesome teacher.

Amazing job. For those who will not teachers, I’ll explain. That is probably some of the hardest data to get in any grade level. You should be so proud of yourself and your students! This is a testament to some of the things that she shares and how important it is to bring these into our classrooms in hopes of helping our students grow.
