As an older college student, but once a young airman, I can tell you for a fact that I’m glad I went USAF first, then college. Partying in the barracks was dope, and the only book work I had was my 5 level course work, and just my regular job, that’s it. College life, yeah I have no life. It’s classroom, home work, work, then sleep. Point is, I’m glad I’m doing this later in life so I had time to party and not give an F about past due assignments, and be in debt.

Yep, there's guys I served with almost 10 years ago and haven't seen them since I left the duty station. But I talked to him on a regular basis.

Can you help me? I’m in Tennessee. I’m currently homeless and currently unemployed by technicality but I start my new job in a week. I have 70% VA disability with a guaranteed 1808.45 per month. I understand that my credit is on the lower end. However, I really just need a place. I’ve applied to apartment complexes and have been repeatedly denied. Any help is greatly appreciated and I totally understand if you can’t.

My son could of easily gone to college here in Texas he had the grades , he decided to join the Navy and is now stationed at Pearl Harbor Hawaii.
