3/4" drawers looks like something you make for garage tools to put in. 1/2" and 5/8 construction looks alot more professional.

I use Sketchup and not this method and am not sure why you’re saying it’s Sketchup’s fault. Have you heard of micrometers? Yes, Baltic Birch thickness varies but if you measure a batch or sheet, it’s dialed in.
