moved out a year ago to "gain some indepence and try to grow up a bit", n yet every day I come home there will be a moment where I wait in the silence and start to hear the memories again. my siblings are grown and married in their own homes now, as I am in mine. I have one last sibling waiting at home. I wonder if one day the silence I wait for every day will start telling me to run back. idk what I want anymore, I miss my mom SO much. but im also living out my goal of being moved out...I got the young independent adult lifestyle I wanted. n yet none of it compared to the slightest to the feeling of home. to those young adults who are very set and motivated to move out one day, DO IT. theres a reason you feel the urge to have to go, so go. Just be prepared for all those bittersweet moments when the change in your life and within yourself start to become more noticeable. it adds more value to every little moment.
