@cutiecassiie_: That was so amazing I bet that meant the world to him coming from Gene Kelly, especially with how young he was in 1985! And Gene saying he’s gonna be leading the way of dancing for many years to come, and he really was! 🥹 They don’t know at the time what Michael would be able to accomplish post 1985, and it’s so fascinating to technically be in the future knowing Michael’s legacy. Love that they wrapped up the special with him, it really showed the star power he had in the 80s. Also I didn’t know that the would show music videos in movie theaters back in the day!
