If you have an iPhone, you can add a Suica card without dealing with the app. Just click on your Apple wallet, press the + button, select add transit card, and scroll to the Japan options. Made things so easy for me when I was there 2 weeks ago

uniqlo apps are country related. so if your app store/google play isn’t japanese, it won’t let you get the japanese version of the app
