I’m a leftest, and Tom Steyer is a billionaire which automatically disqualifies him, in my opinion, for any public office! Any billionaire, whether thier political beliefs are progressive, leftists, or conservative, is a highly unethical person. You can’t earn a single billion, let alone the extreme wealth he has, without the exploitation of the people who worked under him.
