This is a pretty vulnerable post for me... but I think it's worth sharing, especially going into audition season and competition season. All I ever wanted growing up was for someone to tell me l was good enough that all the work I was putting in was enough. Eventually, I started receiving validation by booking jobs and getting opportunities. And yet, I was still left feeling insecure, still looking to the authority/ leadership of those jobs to make me feel seen. All I was really doing was dimming the light inside of me and preventing myself from truly shining God's gift confidently to the world. It wasn't until I opened my Bible and truly let it sink in that I am a child of God, that I am who He says I am, and that He uses this gift to bless others, not to glorify myself that things began to shift. Dancers, we are blessed with a gift. Don't let anyone or anything dim your light or stop you from sharing that gift with the world.

"O óbvio tem que ser dito - parte 2" chegou 🎉 Me lembrei de muita coisa lendo os comentários de vocês na parte 1. E se você ainda não viu, vai lá porque é de chorar de rir. E antes que alguém venha dizer (de novo) que eu tô “tirando sarro” de paciente: É ÓBVIO (he) que essas coisas preocupam. E é óbvio (!) que, na consulta, eu corrigi tudo da forma mais gentil e humana possível. E só depois a gente riu junto. Mas a gente riu um monte. Porque sinceramente? A a gente deveria fazer o quê? Chorar? É óbvio (!) que os pacientes autorizaram divulgar as histórias. E é mais óbvio (!) ainda que nenhum deles pode ser identificado nesses vídeos, portanto está de acordo com o código de ética médica. O obvjetivo disso aqui não é humilhar ninguém. É mostrar uma coisa muitíssimo importante: o que é “óbvio” pra alguém não é óbvio para outra pessoa, principalmente se tratando de um profissional da saúde e um paciente. #saude #medicina #prevencao #estilodevida
