@nunnamaryskitchen: Peach Upside-Down Cake ๐ Peach Topping โข 3โ4 ripe peaches, sliced โข 60g butter โข ยฝ cup brown sugar โข 1 tsp vanilla extract โข Pinch of cinnamon (optional) Cake Batter โข 125g butter, softened โข ยพ cup white sugar โข 2 eggs, room temp โข 1ยฝ cups plain flour โข ยฝ tsp salt โข ยฝ cup milk โข 1 tsp vanilla extract Method 1.Prep โข Preheat oven to 170ยฐC โข Line your cake tin 2. Make the Peach Layer โข Melt butter in a pan over medium heat โข Add brown sugar and vanilla, stir until glossy and bubbling โข Arrange peach slices at the base of the tin then top with your caramel, and set aside 3. Make the Cake Batter โข Cream butter and sugar until pale and fluffy โข Beat in eggs one at a time โข Add vanilla and Fold in flour, salt, and milk โข Mix just until smoothโdonโt overdo it 4. Assemble & Bake โข Spoon batter gently over peaches โข Smooth the top and Bake for 40โ45 minutes then let set for 10 minutes before flipping and serve topped with mascarpone #cake #dessert #baking
