@empty.glances: clarity matters more than assumptions, especially when feelings get involved. people can spend a lot of time together, act emotionally close, do relationship-type things, and still not actually be on the same page about commitment. and that’s where a lot of hurt comes from, not necessarily from bad intentions, but from expectations that were never clearly spoken out loud. real commitment shouldn’t have to be decoded through mixed signals, effort, or “it feels like we’re together.” if someone genuinely wants a relationship, they should be able to communicate it directly and intentionally. because when something matters, clarity isn’t too much to ask for. and protecting your heart sometimes means paying attention to what’s actually been said, not just what’s been implied through actions alone.
