Adams says he was just doing oversight to expose corruption, but legally, only official investigators can take statements to make sure they're actually admissible in court. Unfortunately, the law is the law here.

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room because I’m tired of us being polite while they treat our leaders like common criminals. 🇿🇦
The arrest of Fadiel Adams isn’t just about "legal procedures" or "court dates." It is a calculated move to show us our place. Think about it: how many politicians have been implicated in billions of Rands of fraud? How many have blood on their hands from the state capture years? They’re still sitting in plush offices, drinking expensive water, and "noting" reports.
But as soon as a man from the Flats—someone who doesn't use the fancy political talk but speaks the truth we live every day—starts digging into police corruption and political assassinations? Suddenly the state finds its handcuffs. Suddenly they can drive an MP halfway across the country like he’s a fugitive.
It’s the first time we’ve seen a sitting MP arrested so publicly, and the timing is no coincidence. To my Coloured community: they are watching how we react. They’re betting on us to stay divided. They’re betting on us saying "it’s not my problem."
But it IS our problem. When they target a whistleblower, they are trying to kill the truth. When they target Fadiel, they are trying to silence the only voice that’s been unapologetically shouting for the forgotten people of this country.
We’ve been "not black enough" and "not white enough" for way too long. It’s time we become "united enough" to say we won't be bullied anymore. We see the double standards. We see the selective justice. And we aren't going to look away.
Stick together, family. Because if they can do this to an MP in the light of day, imagine what they’ll do to the rest of us in the dark. ✊🏽🔥
