Rating Colorado ski resorts based on how beginner/intermediate friendly they are! (Part 8) ❄️ B E A V E R C R E E K ❄️ My rating: 10/10 Beaver Creek was SO MUCH FUN! I took my brother and sister-in-law who have never skied before and they had a great time! Here’s why ⬇️ 👍 Pros: - Dedicated beginners area off Haymeadow Express Gondola - 3 different “magic carpets” in the beginners area - Tons of wide open easy greens throughout the mountains - Beautiful views - Lots of easier blues for when you want to progress safely - We didn’t go here yet, but I’ve heard they have an incredible beginners/intermediate bowl called McCoy Park. We have to come back and try it out! (I’ll make a separate video of it when I do!) - Great restaurants at the bottom on the lifts - Adorable town 👎 Cons - Pretty small at 18,000 acres of skiable area I spent the whole week on only the left side of the resort with my family, but here are some of the runs I enjoyed: 💚 Cinch 💚 Buckaroo Bowl 💚 Haymeadow 💚 Cinch 💙 Gold Dust ⛷️ Here’s what I’d do if I was a first-timer or just a super cautious beginner: 1️⃣ Take the Haymeadow Express Gondola 2️⃣ Try some of the runs by the magic carpet at the Heaymeadow Park 3️⃣ When you’re feeling good, ski down Buckaroo Bowl or Haymeadow. Do this as many times as you need! 4️⃣ Once you’re confident in your turns, take the Centennial Express Lift and take Cinch all the way down! *I’ll make an additional Beaver Creek video at the end of Feb when I go back and explore more of the mountain!
