@belovedcabin: So the other day… someone commented on my recent post “go back to where I came from.” First time I’ve ever had that said to me. And honestly? I didn’t take it personally. Not because it’s okay… I’ve just got thick skin. Like… DIY shed in the woods kinda thick skin 😅 I grew up around all kinds of people. Different cultures, different beliefs… same school, same life. Every now and then someone would say something dumb… and I’d be like, “does your mom know you talk like that… or is she about to find out?” 😂 I almost scrolled past this one too. Just another Facebook moment… But then I thought… what if it wasn’t me reading that? What if it hit someone who doesn’t have thick skin yet? So let me say this clearly… We’re here to build, not divide. You don’t have to agree with people. You don’t even have to like people… (that’s partly why we live in the woods 😅) But basic respect? Yeah… that’s not optional. And if you’re here reading this… you’re welcome here. I don’t care where you’re from, what you believe, or how much money you make… Just don’t come in here acting like your mom didn’t raise you right. Some people draw small circles to keep others out… We’re over here drawing bigger ones to include everyone.
