He just knows you’re not leaving, so he doesn’t feel the need to reply to you. He sees that you texted him, but it’s not that important for him to respond. He replies to other people because their relationship with him depends on whether he answers or not.

Working, talking to friends on the phone, doom scrolling, on the game with friends, being productive, napping, reading, overwhelmed or stressed and turned off his ringer, eating. There are so many reasons. You see him check his phone, but that doesn’t mean he’s actually seeing or noticing every notification. He might see your notification and just not be able to respond in the moment and/or forget to while busy. Coming from someone who has trust issues, just take a breath, talk to him about it, and stop reading too far into something you don’t know enough about.
