Working in apartment maintenance, I would recommend removing the hinge pin and adjusting each section individually. You're less likely to damage the door frame and rip out the screws, and the door will still open like it should.

Just use an adjustable wrench. That’s what I always used and it works great. The only thing is you have to drive the pin out and do individual knuckles.
